About

I enjoy getting to know my patients and partnering with them to make decisions about their health. I love my work because I get to care for a woman throughout her life. I can help women with their early gynecologic needs, deliver their children, perform any gynecologic surgeries they may need and also address their concerns regarding menopause. Being able to get to know my patients over the span of decades is why I went into OB/GYN.

I believe a good doctor is also a good teacher. There are several ways to communicate, and I strive to meet my patients where they are. I want to ensure that you and your baby are safe during labor and delivery while also being sensitive to your concerns, as each person is unique and has different needs. Similarly, I believe a good surgeon should be both technically skilled and stick with you during your pre-operative decision-making and post-operative recovery process. I value staying with my patients throughout their life and advocating for their health care needs.

Reddit Testimonial (r/childfree)

Stanford Children’s Health – Women’s Care Medical Group (650) 366-5594. Bilateral Salpingectomy. 28 years old, married, childfree (no current or desired children of any kind). Dr. Li was very understanding and listened to me. No bingos, only that she had to, by law, state that women with the procedure younger than 30 have higher rates of regret. Was able to get me in for my procedure in under a month.
