“Broadlawns’ mission speaks to my own personal mission and why I went in to medicine. I love caring for my community and being directly involved in the education of medical students and residents! It is also so special to be in a smaller hospital where I know all my patients as well as the staff who work within our walls! To me, the most rewarding aspect of patient care is making a difference in peoples’ lives. We have the power to effect change – from easy things like using our patients’ preferred pronouns to the larger picture of decreasing health care disparities in the underserved. I particularly enjoy helping my patients through life’s transitions – puberty, childbirth, menopause. It is truly my honor to walk this journey alongside my patients!”
