About

Sara Campbell, MD, is an OBGYN who sees patients at the Emory Women’s Center at Decatur.

As one of three sisters, Dr. Campbell understands women and their health care needs. Working in her specialty, she considers it a privilege to walk with them—in the good times and the bad—through what is one of the most personal experiences of their lives. She’s especially happy to do that at Emory Healthcare, where she’s able to develop close professional relationships with her patients, while also being able to direct patients to any specialized care they may need.

Dr. Campbell recognizes the importance of listening to her patients and using her listening skills as a springboard for good communication. She encourages those she cares for to ask questions, either in person or through MyChart, the Emory Healthcare patient portal. She believes that often, the best conversations begin when patients are comfortable enough to speak about what’s on their mind. There’s no question too silly or insignificant to ask.

Interpretive Services

To provide the highest quality of care, interpreter services may be utilized to ensure proper communication of medical information for deaf, hard-of-hearing, and non-English speaking patients or family members.

She was very professional and understanding and gave me zero bingos. She completed my bilateral salpingectomy today and everything went so well!
