Dr. Harvison is a native to the Pittsburgh area and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh before going on to Marshall University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency training at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Harvison became board certified in 2015 and returned home to join Advanced Women’s Care. She is currently the chair of the OBGYN department at St. Clair Hospital and lives in Peters Township with her husband and two children.
at Advanced Womens Care in Pittsburgh Pa. I believe that Dr. Peske is already on the list but my experience is with a different doctor from the same practice. I spoke with Dr. Harvison last year about getting a salpingectomy, she recommended I wait until my IUD was ip then they could do the surgery and put a new IUD on at the same time. I had initially agreed. With the recent over turn of Roe V. Wade I had asked that we move this up regardless of the IUD. Dr. Harvison signed off but asked me for my reasoning to which I replied. She reaffirmed that I was 100% sure and signed off on surgery. Dr. Harvison only spoke to me one time about “making sure this was right for me.” She did not try to talk me out of this at any point.
