About

Dr. Jajal was born in San Jose, California, but raised near Austin, Texas. She graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and a minor in gender studies.  She received her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. During her time in residency, she won awards related to research and teaching of medical students. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, provision of gender-affirming care, complex contraceptive care, and adolescent care.  She is passionate about empowering her patients and helping them achieve their healthcare goals.  Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, reading, learning new languages, and hanging out with her dog, Lily. Dr. Jajal is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is Board Certified in her field of medicine.
