Reproductive freedom for all ♀

About

I believe in the importance of partnership and communication between me and my patients. My goal is to provide evidence-based medicine while building strong long-term relationships with my patients.

I was born and raised in Russia, but my family moved to Northern California when I was in high school. I received an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley in molecular biology. I lived in Los Angeles during medical school and residency at the Los Angeles County Hospital through the University of Southern California. I then moved back to the Bay Area to be closer to my family. I chose a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology because I love the diversity of care I can provide in women's health, and I am honored to be present for important events in my patients' lives.

I am a strong supporter of reproductive life planning. I emphasize the importance of patient education and encourage all my patients to be advocates for their own health and well-being. In my opinion medical care is more effective when a physician and a patient act as a team and have open communication. I strive to continue life-long learning, persistently grow and maintain expertise in the constantly evolving field of medicine.

Reddit Testimonial (r/childfree)

(https://mydoctor.kaiserpermanente.org/ncal/providers/apriltritto). Procedure: bilateral salpingectomy. 24-yo F, completely childfree, no partner. The total cost for me is $400 (billed), but the surgery went smoothly, and I appreciate all the care I got from the care team.
