Reproductive freedom for all ♀

About

I received a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Toxicology at the University of California, Berkeley. I completed my medical school training at Stanford University School of Medicine and completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at UCLA School of Medicine.

I decided to specialize in OB/GYN because of the opportunity to care for women in all stages of their lives and the eclectic nature of the field with the opportunity to practice both medicine and surgery. I am passionate about providing full scope obstetrics and gynecology care.

The best part of this job is getting to know my patients on a personal level and the opportunity to continue to cultivate my skills as a clinician and educator to advance women’s health. As a child of immigrants, I am honored to care for women from all backgrounds. My bilingual and multicultural background has prepared me to provide compassionate and personalized care to all patients I see.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, including hiking with family and friends, and traveling to new places with my fiancé!

Cambridge Health Alliance, 1493 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139, 617-665-1000. LGBTQ+ friendly. Specialist in LGBTQ Health. Sept. 2024. Bisalp on 26-year-old CF redditor. I could not have have had a better experience with Dr. Chanana. From my consultation to the actual procedure, she was knowledgeable, empathetic and listened to all my pre-op concerns. No bingos whatsoever! My procedure went better than I could have hoped – I had a virtually pain-free recovery and experienced minimal discomfort. She also called me about 48 hours post-op to see how I was doing and that was really nice. You will not find a better surgeon or doctor in Cambridge, MA. Highly, highly recommend!
