I am 24, not married. I requested a bilateral salpingectomy. She asked a couple of questions about birth control but ultimately said that it’s my personal decision and she’ll do it if I’m sure. The appointment was very short and easy and I didn’t even have to argue any points other than I’m sure it’s what I want. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the surgery due to my insurance not covering the only hospital she operates in, but had no issues getting the surgery scheduled in the first place.
