Me:28, married, no children – Bilateral salpingectomy performed. No bingos. Asked me if I understood it is permanent and am sure. I said yes. She immediately goes on to tell me about the procedure, no hesitation. I told her about this subreddit and the wiki resource and she said “add me on there, I support women’s choices.”

+1  Total laparoscopic hysterectomy performed Jan 2024. 24 female. Married. No kids. I asked about having a scalpingectomy and she actually recommended the hysterectomy, said that if I don’t want kids, why keep the periods. I was able to schedule that day for surgery to be performed 2 weeks later. She did lab work and a biopsy of my cervix to check for any other potential health issues that could cause complications with an invasive procedure. Overall, fantastic and have referred numerous friends to her also.
