Dr. Courtney Cohen was born and raised in rural Virginia. She received her BS in Neuroscience at The College of William and Mary and then earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Venturing away from Virginia, she next completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center in 2017. She then returned South to settle in Asheville, NC, a place Courtney had fallen in love with on frequent family vacations as a child. Dr. Cohen and her husband have welcomed two boys, Ben and Gabe, and twin girls, Addison and Olivia, to their family since moving to Asheville. When she is not at the office or hospital, she is busy having fun with her four kids, two dogs, and husband …. or sleeping! Dr. Cohen finds it an absolute privilege to be able to care for women across their lifespan – from girls getting their first period to helping women navigate the many changes with menopause and everything in between!! She has the best job!
