Dr. Lohr was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated with distinction from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Before moving on to pursue her medical career, she worked for three years as a clinical engineer in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. She attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego, and was awarded her medical doctorate in 2004. Dr. Lohr moved to Portland, Oregon for her residency training at Oregon Health & Science University, which she completed in 2008. She is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In September 2008, Dr. Lohr entered private practice. She loves all facets of OB/GYN including obstetric care, office gynecology, and surgery, which allow her to develop longstanding relationships with her patients. As a physician, she values learning about her patients as individuals and empowering them to lead healthful lives. She makes it a priority to listen carefully and explain medical circumstances and treatment options thoroughly. She is thrilled to be in practice here in Portland and to serve the women of this fantastic community!

When she is not at work, Dr. Lohr tries to take advantage of all that the Oregon outdoors has to offer. She and her husband love to ski in the winter, sea kayak and backpack in the summer, and run year-round. They are also avid live music fans. Their biggest passions, however, are their daughter and son, born in 2009 and 2013, respectively.
