As an obstetrician-gynecologist, Danielle Johnson, DO, specializes in women’s health throughout the lifespan. She provides family planning and contraception, pregnancy care, preventive care, and a wide range of gynecological procedures.
She also researches the effects of public policy on health education.
“I prefer to take a collaborative approach with patients, working with them as a whole person to achieve their healthcare goals,” she says.
Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology from Virginia Tech and earned an osteopathic medicine (DO) degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. After completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Carolina, she was the director of family planning at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Easton, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Johnson enjoys spending her free time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
