Deborah Lachance, MD, specializes in obstetrics and gynecology at Altru. Dr. Lachance is passionate about creating an environment where her patients feel empowered to speak openly about anything, knowing that she will always do her best to assist them in whatever way she can. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking/baking, and spending time with her husband and three children.
Philosophy of Medicine
"I enjoy helping women feel their best, and helping them deal with issues that can sometimes be extremely personal and difficult to discuss. Medicine, particularly obstetrics and gynecology, places us as providers in women's lives at times which can be extremely joyful but also potentially unbelievably difficult and challenging. I think it's a privilege to have the opportunity to participate in a woman's care at such times and have a positive impact."
