About

Kaiser Permanente became intriguing to me while studying for my Master’s Degree in Public Health at Columbia University in New York City. This well respected organization is considered the gold standard for providing evidence based, quality medicine, and for taking good care of both their patients and their physicians. After considering many career options, I was delighted to join Kaiser Permanente – Santa Clara in 2015.

My childhood was spent in rural Missouri. I completed the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s 6 year combined undergraduate and medical school program in 1997. My residency was served with Michigan State in Flint, Michigan.

Upon graduation from residency, I joined an independent practice in Kansas City for 3 years. In 2004, I moved back to rural Missouri and started a solo practice in an area that had no Ob/Gyn medical services. A few years later, I merged with SSM Health and continued to practice there until 2014.

Clinical practice is tremendously rewarding. It is such a blessing to be involved with helping people start or expand their families, and helping patients be well and feel good.

(OB/GYN), Kaiser Permanente. Very supportive of sterilization and presents multiple options. Also body positive and feminist.
