Reddit Testimonial (r/childfree)

Dr. Chandra Spring-Robinson, San Diego Women’s Health in La Jolla, CA performed my bisalp without a hitch July 8, 2024 (my personal independence day). I had issues with billing and a long drawn-out battle with insurance, but I’m not sure who is responsible for the issue, the office or my insurance. Ultimately I did get it fully covered. When we first met, she asked me only “do you want to have children?” and I said “nope” and she said “then let’s do this.” She was the BEST. The whole OR team at Scripps Memorial Hospital was so wonderful and professional, and all women, which was a nice treat! Her final disclaimer before surgery was “So I have to give this patriarchal bullshit speech, but you do realize that removing your fallopian tubes will prevent you from blah blah blah?” (literally saying blah blah blah) and I said “hell yes” then was rolled back for surgery.
