I was born in Trinidad and Tobago, a beautiful twin island republic paradise in the Southern Caribbean. After completing school at St. George’s University, Grenada, I immigrated to the United States of America and completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Michigan.

Throughout my time as a provider, my greatest teachers have been my patients. I have worked in a multitude of areas including large hospital systems, small community hospital, Hospitalist program and on the mission field. This broad exposure helped me to understand the various ways of delivering healthcare and led me to focus my services to Whole Person Care. My goal and that of Genesis is to bring individualized and personalized care to you. This desire has pushed me to understand better what is happening in my own body and my patients'. To support this goal, I am pursuing a certification with the American Academy of Antiaging Medicine, which focuses on personalizing hormone replacement therapy.

If you are a patient just wanting basic gynecologic care including in-office, outpatient or inpatient surgical interventions, Genesis is here for you. If you need major surgery, I specialize in a minimally invasive method that allows you to get back to your daily routine with little disruption.

Dr. Celestine-Wilson was the doctor I met and she was incredibly kind and patient with me, and had the mindset that if I was my age and knew for a long time I didn’t want children then it was my right to have my tubes taken out. I am married, but I told her that if my husband wants children in the future then we would simply get divorced. There were no issues with the surgery, but the surgery center they do their surgeries at was delayed by two hours. We confirmed again before the surgery that it was what I wanted to do and signed more paperwork. My recovery was great though and there was always someone to answer my calls about my recovery until my follow-up appointment. Highly recommend their office for any OB/GYN concerns!
