Dr. Joanna Perez Evans is an OB/GYN physician with clinical interests in minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery, high-risk obstetrics, family planning and contraception and weight management. She earned her medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Magee Women’s Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Evans strives to empower her patients to fully understand their health conditions and what treatment options are available. She enjoys working as a team to create an approach to care that fits their preferences and goals. Finally, Dr. Evans serves as an approachable resource to support women as they navigate their pregnancy and beyond.
She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association. In her free time, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with her children, cooking, fitness and exploring the Triangle area and beyond.
