Reddit Testimonial (r/childfree)

Procedure completed: (laparoscopic salpingectomy), 32, marital status: single, childfree: yes. I had been asking other ob-gyns to sterilize me since I was 16 but no one would. Dr. Stampler made me wait 1 year (which is reasonable since she’d never met me before) and then did the surgery. She is well-trained in this type of surgery and I had a good recovery. She is very much a proponent of reproductive justice. FYI: she is trans-friendly despite the cis-centric language in the Jenkintown waiting room (she is trying to get that changed).
