No bingos at the hospital just everyone making sure I knew what procedure I was having done as is standard for surgery. My insurance with Cigna covered it completely although I did have an issue before surgery with hospital registration, they were trying to charge me an amount up front. I was told by my surgery scheduler to ensure it was being billed as sterilization and to verify the procedure and billing code as Z30.2. Once I relayed this they called my insurance and confirmed it was completely covered and I didn’t have to pay up front.
