About

Hi, I am pleased to share some of my background with you! I grew up in the South Bay and have had a long and windy road that finally brought me back to the Bay Area. I love traveling and language, and my journey thus far has afforded me the opportunity to expand my knowledge in both. I grew up in a bilingual household (speaking Serbian and English) with three sisters, so hormones and women's health have always been a part of my life, and I’ve always been intrigued by pregnancy.

As a biology student at San Jose State, I had the opportunity to work as a peer advisor for the college of science. I was exposed to many different cultures and languages and it was here that my love of medicine started. I quickly bonded with my peers and realized that I enjoyed helping people navigate through their individual hardships to reach their goals. I also realized it was easier to connect with the Hispanic population around me in their native tongue.

After college I worked in local podiatry offices honing my medical Spanish while also crossing podiatry off my list of possible specialties. I then moved to the Bahamas for a prep program, and then onto the small island of Dominica for the first two years of my medical training with Ross University. I completed my third and fourth years of schooling throughout the US; I traveled to Miami, Chicago, Michigan and Los Angeles.

It was through travel and exposure to so many different types of struggles with regard to motherhood and women's health that I chose ob-gyn. I feel so honored to be able to help women navigate their reproductive plans and this brought me back to Florida, where I completed residency in Orlando at Winnie Palmer Hospital. Here I received great training and dealt primarily with high-risk pregnancies.

After years of travel, I decided I needed my family around me. I chose Kaiser Permanente because I feel I have found a home of like-minded colleagues who understand the importance of kindness and respect, who practice evidence-based medicine, and who also love the Bay Area as much as I do.

I feel that as a patient feeling heard and respected are paramount to great care, and I strive to listen and communicate with my patients in a way that they feel 100% understood.

Kaiser Permanente, Women’s Health Center, 3rd Floor, 3100 Dublin Blvd, Dublin, CA 94568, 925-556-4600. LBGTQ+ friendly. Feb. 2024. Bisalp on 31-year-old CF redditor. I was taking the pill, which failed, and she performed my D&C and other required care during that time, and has never once made me feel interrogated over my decision to be child free. I am anemic, on a couple of prescription medications, and have a history of heart palpitations. I have a very heavily tattooed abdomen, and before the surgery we looked at my tattoos and Dr. Dragovic plotted out where she would do the incisions to best fit in with them. She managed my pre-op care, and discussed my post-surgical recovery planning with me well in advance so that I could arrange time off work and accommodations thereafter. She provided an extremely detailed written account of the surgery in my medical chart, and found previously undiagnosed endometriosis during the procedure, which we will begin treatment for as well.
