About

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I have wanted to be a physician since I was in high school. As a board certified family medicine physician and a gynecologist, I am able to care for girls and women of all ages and continually be challenged to address the many physical and emotional issues that arise.

What I want my patients to know about me:

What I have valued most in my 20+ years of practice are the relationships that I have formed with my patients, colleagues and coworkers. It is truly a privilege to listen to and educate women so they are best equipped to make healthy choices for themselves. I have always prided myself in treating patients like family.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients:

When I am not seeing patients, I am watching my kids play sports, eating with friends, reading, exercising or doing yoga.

Reddit Testimonial (r/childfree)

She just did a bilateral tubal ligation with clamps/rings/whatever after I asked only once, no bingos, did ask if I was sure once in the pre-op appointment but I took that as a confirmation of understanding rather than a bingo. I’m 29, married, and happily CF. NB this member recently had a laparoscopic hysterectomy with Dr Leaman.
