Reproductive freedom for all ♀

About

I am board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and osteopathy with professional interests in prenatal care, urogynecology and minimally invasive surgery. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

Hometown:  Litchfield, MN

Practice philosophy: It is important to involve patients in their health care decision making process because  there are different ways to approach many of the conditions or concerns they are facing.

What am I passionate about? Healthy habits help create a healthy and productive life, so I believe in promoting sustainable, healthy habits.

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: professional coach because I enjoy being active and motivating people to be their best.

Why did you become a provider? I have always enjoyed caring for people and chose Ob/Gyn because I found I enjoy performing surgical procedures and taking care of women.

Something I have learned from my patients is: It is important to listen to each patient carefully as each person has a unique story and it is important to their health care journey.

One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): Balancing my career and family as this is always a challenge especially as my children become older and their needs change.

My personal health goal is: to qualify for the Boston Marathon again.

What is the best thing you’ve done for your health ? Eat real food and exercise not to maintain a certain weight, but because it creates a healthy body and soul.

What are you most proud of? Healthy marriage of 17 years and two wonderful children.

Reddit Testimonial (r/childfree)

Buffalo MN, USA did my tubal ligation in 2018. She clipped mine but she mentioned at my last appt that nowadays, she just takes the tubes right out most of the time. So I know she still does them and has done them multiple times. Of course I don’t know her other patients situations, but I was 25, married, no kids, went to my appt alone to talk about tubal ligation, and she booked the surgery for me that same day.
