Dr. Sandow was born and raised in New Orleans, graduated from Academy of the Sacred Heart High School, attended Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport and returned home to Ochsner Medical Center to complete her internship and residency in Obstretrics and Gynecology. She served as an Administrative Chief Resident during her final year.
She practices all areas of Ob/Gyn and particularly enjoys providing a personal approach of obstetric care to her patients. She performs laparoscopic, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies. She treats uterine fibroids, performs contraceptive procedures, and manages well woman care throughout the ages. She enjoys all aspects of gynecology.
Dr. Sandow provides a caring and compassionate environment so that her patients feel comfortable communicating their individual needs. She is passionate about educating her patients with the most up to date information regarding their treatment plan to help them come to the best decision for their care.
Dr. Sandow is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been practicing medicine since 2012. She spends most of her free time with her husband, children, and extended New Orleans family.
