Marisa Dahlman, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN with a focused practice designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS). This allows her to do complicated surgery with great precision and to provide really good outcomes for her patients. She has special medical interest in abnormal bleeding, uterine fibroids, endometriosis and abnormal Pap smears. She enjoys the opportunity to see patients over time and develop meaningful relationships with them.
Most of what Dr. Dahlman does involves improving the quality of life for her patients. With this in mind, she stresses listening to her patients because she feels they are in the best position to tell her what that means for them. There is no “one size fits all” approach. Any decisions about surgery, hormones, medications or observation are always going to be made after looking at her patient’s entire life situation.
When not busy with her practice, Dr. Dahlman enjoys cooking, reading, singing, and spending time with her husband and children.
Now offering transcervical fibroid ablation (TFA). An outpatient procedure, TFA is an incisionless, fibroid treatment that preserves the uterus for patients.
