About

Dr. Ghosh grew up in the Austin area and is very excited to return! When she is not at work, she enjoys playing with her dachshund, knitting, or reading a good book. Dr. Ghosh loves Mozart’s Coffee Roasters on Lake Austin Blvd., saying, “it’s a great place to listen to music, eat a pastry, watch the lake, and have great conversations with friends.”

“I knew I wanted to be a physician as far back as high school, and while minoring in Women’s Studies in college, I kindled a passion for women’s health issues. A career that supported both my passion for medicine and for women’s health seemed to be the perfect fit. I firmly believe that education, helping patients understand their diagnoses or treatment options, is a huge part of my physician practice, and it is one of the aspects I most enjoy. Knowledge is power!”

Bilateral Salpingectomy. I was 30, single and childfree and she agreed with no pushback after our first meeting. My scars are exceptionally minimal.
