Sabrina Whitehurst, MD, specializes in all medical and surgical aspects of obstetrics and gynecology. She cares for women of all ages, providing a wide range of women’s health services, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, birth control, pregnancy and menopause care. What she enjoys most about her job is seeing her patients every year, watching them grow and celebrating milestones alongside them.
She is proud to have served on active duty in the United States Army, where she provided care for women soldiers, officers and their family members. She is a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army Reserves. She also serves as director of women’s health for Geisinger’s western region.
Dr. Whitehurst grew up in New York City and is a proud Penn State graduate. She lives in State College with her husband and their three children.
