About

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

After being a part of my nephew’s delivery, I realized how much I enjoy learning about women’s health. I continue to love learning and advocating about women’s health.

What I want my patients to know about me:

After moving to southcentral PA for my residency, I grew to enjoy the area very much so I decided to make it my home. I love the community and patients here. I look forward to continuing my career in this community and providing the best care possible for my patients.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients:

When I’m not at work, I’m either reading at home, gardening, or relaxing in my pool. I also enjoy traveling.

Reddit Testimonial (r/childfree)

I am willing to do tubals on childfree people of all ages (youngest tubal I’ve done was at 23). I am a childfree person with a tubal myself (although that happened when I was 28), so I am very willing to help patients.

+1 Dr Niester, bilateral salpingectomy (during an oophorectomy). 36 y/o, single never married, and no children. Dr. Niester was great from start to finish. I was referred to her for an oophorectomy and after discussing my (lack of) child-bearing plans, she offered to perform a bilateral salpingectomy during the procedure. She let me take a few weeks to think about it and answered all my questions.
