Bilateral salpingectomy at 19 years old (single and childfree), Feb 2025. Got it done for me very fast (1 month between first appointment and procedure). Compassionate and honored my wishes while still making sure I was informed. She made a point to assure me that she was not there to argue or change my mind, and that only I get to make decisions about my body. I learned later that she received a lot of criticism from her colleagues since I was so young, but defended me and her decision. NB OP has another non-gynecological diagnosis that may have factored into the doctor’s willingness to move forward.
