Empowered OBGYN. 31 years old, married (to a woman), no children. I expressed my desire to have a hysterectomy and that I have wanted one for about 13 years. I did have to be proactive about scheduling. Dr. Freeman is great. She actually listens to you. She does have a very thick accent so sometimes she can be hard to understand, but she’s a great doctor. At first when I said I wanted a hysterectomy I was worried she was going to give me the run around like all my previous doctors because she is very hard to read, but she was on board from the start. She did a great job with the surgery, I was out of the OR and awake in 2 hours.
