Dr. Susan Horvath is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist. She received her bachelor’s degree from Brown University and her medical degree from the University of Illinois. She also received an Executive MBA with an interest in health care management and reform from the University of Utah in 2016.

Dr. Horvath completed her internship and residency at the University of Colorado in Denver where she was voted the Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics. She enjoys the field of OB/GYN because of the diverse care she can provide to women. This includes prenatal care and delivery, annual exams, menopause and traditional hormone replacement. She caters to special needs that may arise which may require medical management or surgery. Dr. Horvath is also certified in minimally-invasive robotic surgery and specializes in hysterectomies.

Regarded as one of the physician leaders at ST. Mark’s Hospital, Dr. Horvath has previously served as the Department Chairman of OB/GYN and as a member of the Supervisory Board. She currently sits on the St. Mark’s Board of Trustees as the Co-Chairman.

In addition to being a physician, Dr. Horvath has four children. Her husband is a professor in Biology at the University of Utah. She is an advocate for work-life balance and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, trail running and beach vacations.
