Dr. Tashera E. Perry, MD (she/her) is an OB/GYN with IU Health Bloomington and an assistant professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology Practice at Indiana University School of Medicine – Bloomington. She enjoyed a brief career in cardiovascular research as a post-baccalaureate fellow at the National Institutes of Health before earning her medical degree from the University of Chicago. Dr. Perry is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), through which she completed a prestigious women’s health advocacy fellowship; she is also a member of the American Medical Association (AMA).
Dr. Perry offers a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services; areas of interest include infertility and gender-affirming care. She has interests in quality improvement and clinical informatics and serves on several related system-wide committees. Dr. Perry also remains committed to health advocacy. She sits on the Boards of the Bloomington Health Foundation and the Monroe-Owen County Medical Society, serves as a delegate to the Indiana State Medical Association (ISMA), and is the IU Health representative to the AMA Integrated Physician Practice Section. Dr. Perry enjoys traveling, cycling, hot yoga and history podcasts. Dr. Perry lives in Bloomington with her husband, son and a little black cat.
