Charleston, South Carolina, MUSC Women’s Health, hysterectomy for 39yo (with PCOS and embedded IUD), November 2024. LGBTQ friendly, no bingoes, needed physical exam first. When I mentioned that I had been trying to get sterilized for years, she said she would’ve gladly done it earlier. She listens to her patients. Kept my ovaries to avoid early menopause. Exam/imaging was required for me because I have a history of PCOS and had an embedded IUD. She was thorough and checked to make sure I could keep my ovaries, since I don’t want to start menopause.
